Analysis on DJT

~ Ron Leith

Donald Trump is the antithesis of a President of the United States.

He is anti-everything that doesn’t concern him. Totally narcissistic

behavior. This mode of childish behavior has left many people

puzzled as to how to deal with him. But as parents, we should all

know how to deal with a petulant child. They need discipline,

which, in Trump’s case, is the one attribute he does not possess.

He has no boundaries as a result of being born into a spoiling environment and being coddled his entire life, never being in want of anything. This leads to very inappropriate psychological development. But as an adult, this behavior can be dangerous.

The other attribute that has created a complete Monster-in-Charge is the fact that he expects complete loyalty from anyone within his circle of influence. And as POTUS, his circle of subservience has become extraordinarily large, encompassing every major institution operating in the country, including the military, the medical, social, and financial arenas.

Any semblance of freedom of thought and or action has become operational only at the will of Trump. And a type of divergence from complete loyalty brings a rain of criticism and possibly ostracism from his circle of trust.

These consequences can and have been personal, legal, and widely shared through his personal media operations. Many great and good people have been devastated by Trump’s vengeance. And his limit of tolerance for disloyalty does not really exist. He holds grudges for years, if not forever. He has a black list of enemies, and in his current capacity as Commander-in-Chief, he wields the most significant authority on earth. He uses it for personal satisfaction every day. This week, he has destroyed the East Wing of the White House to build a room big enough to hold all of his “admirers” hostage. The White House is the house; he is just a guest. But being the bully he is, he doesn’t care and continues to try to destroy everything in his path.

And the Congress/SCOTUS does not have the wherewithal to stop him. Trump’s organizational sycophants have assumed the same “right to do whatever I want” attitude that he has espoused. This creates an entirely disrespectful and oppositional relationship between any Congressional oversight and their organizational reviews. Instead of acquiescing to Congress's oversight authority, many agency heads have refused or obfuscated direct questioning about their management decisions and style.

We are in the 10th month of the Trump presidency, and the one word that seems to have crossed everyone’s lips is “unprecedented”. Every day, there is another barrage of Trump’s “shock and awe” method of executive management, in many cases overturning political and social norms that have existed for generations in Washington circles. And many on the hill have no idea as to how they should react to these disruptions. It’s a “carrot-and-the-stick” response where you never get to complete one thought while another crisis or action is taking place right in front of you. It’s absolutely disarming. The only ray of hope or of semblance of sanity is within the courts, which are lethargic at best in most cases, but many cases are slowing down Trump’s logistical onslaughts.

Trump has arbitrarily destroyed “enemy boats” in international waters, claiming them to be drug traffickers. This is being done as I write, without any semblance of due process or confirmed identification of who these people are. They could be traffickers, but then they could be innocent fishermen. No one will ever know because they have been completely obliterated from the face of the earth by bombing from drones or planes. These people were international Indigenous people. Their guilt or innocence will never be established because they were neither arrested nor brought before any judicial system. But that is the point, I believe. Arbitrary killing is a sample of Trump’s authority. It’s a fear-inducing tactic, meant to create fear and anxiety among helpless people everywhere. And using Indigenous people as the target, in Trump’s mind, decreases the possibility of any real blowback and or consequences.

I proposed in my 4th book, Spyder Leaves the Medicine Lodge, that an international Indigenous Court be established to bring justice forward for the millions of Indigenous people in the Western Hemisphere. For too long, we have allowed the colonialist systems of justice to take our future into their power, where we have never been treated fairly and equitably.

Trump has crystallized all of the mistreatment that we, as American Indians, have had to endure. But now that treatment has been spread among others who thought they were immune to mistreatment and disregard. Trump has no qualms about who he destroys. In fact, he wants to kill everyone. I’ve made these same remarks many times in many social media posts.

In 2015, I saw the Devil and his wife riding down the escalator in Trump Tower, and I knew immediately that the country would be the victim if he became President. His claim to fame was “firing people” in his television reality show, which was a complete failure.

We are in the midst of an American armageddon. And I don’t think the populace of this country understands how close to the precipice of destruction we are in this moment.

Communities, families, organizations, and ecumenical structures are all being divided and slowly decimated. It’s an absolute tragedy for a country that, after World War II, came together to rebuild what had been damaged by that horrible war. Since then, many have wanted to live in peace and live quite productive lives.. And the late 40s and 50s seemed to be going toward that direction. Then Korea and Vietnam, which turned the country back into war support mode.

Trump was going to end all conflicts within the first 24 hours of his presidency.

That did not happen. The Middle East is still on fire, Russia is still bombing Ukraine, and many more people are starving as a result of numerous international conflicts.
