O Creator, I plead with You,
Why do my brothers and sisters fall, divided
by rifts that breed despair? The dread of war
clouds the minds of young and old alike, as
peace has faded into mere echoes of stories
told long ago.
O Creator, I cry out to you,
In the midst of concrete canyons and electric sighs, Mother Earth weeps, pleading for respite from those who have called her home for a thousand years. Have we grown deaf to the whispers of the elders? A tongue once known to the cosmos, now forgotten?
O Creator, I beseech You with urgency,
What shall we do when the animals vanish and our waters run foul? We tread into an era where greed desecrates what is sacred. Pollution seeps into our streams, contaminating both water and blood. The harmony of the animal kingdom wanes, lost to our failure to honor those who taught us the way of unity.
O Creator, I implore with every fiber of my being,
What can we do now that the children’s cries fill the air? No longer regarded as sacred, they suffer at the hands of those pledged to shield them. Innocence is severed by the very guides meant to nurture their souls.
O Creator, I plead for a dawn,
Where the chorus of humanity sings in unity,
Awakening to the truth that we are all threads in this tapestry,
Woven from the same fabric of existence.
May we not let our story be one of regret,
But a testament to resilience,
For change begins in the heart that dares to dream
